Abstract

This study focuses on the importance of global citizenship education (GCE) in preparing students to become responsible and informed global citizens. GCE goes beyond traditional academic subjects to encompass intercultural competence, empathy, and social responsibility. Through a comprehensive review of GCE curricula and innovative teaching practices, this research assesses the impact of global citizenship education on students' attitudes, values, and behaviors. By promoting cultural awareness, empathy, and a sense of social responsibility, GCE aims to equip students with the skills necessary to address global challenges, embrace diversity, and contribute positively to the world. The findings highlight the significance of GCE in shaping well-rounded individuals capable of making positive contributions to their communities and the wider world.
