Abstract

This study investigates the significance of emotional intelligence (EI) in educational leadership and its impact on school culture and teacher effectiveness. Emotional intelligence involves the ability to recognize, understand, and manage emotions, both in oneself and others. Through a comprehensive literature review and case studies of successful educational leaders, this research delves into how emotionally intelligent leaders can create a positive and supportive school culture that fosters growth and learning. Additionally, it explores how leaders with high EI can better support and empower their teachers, leading to increased job satisfaction and improved student outcomes. The findings provide valuable implications for leadership development programs and strategies to enhance educational leadership practices.
